Site Narrative:
SS012 is located approximately 1.5 miles south of Conway Springs on State Highway 49 in Sumner County, Kansas. The United States Air Force owns and maintains the site. No structures or equipment remain, except remnants of concrete pads from various onsite operations. The site is surrounded by five-strand barbed wire fencing and a perimeter road within the fence. SS012 is bordered largely by agricultural land to the north, south, east, and west. A residence is located roughly 450 feet to the west-southwest of the western boundary (FPM 2015).
